Jacquelyn graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology. Exercise and wellness has always been a huge passion for her as she spent many years as a swim coach. One of her favorite places to go while growing up in Kemah, Texas was to her childhood dentist.
After attending university Jacquelyn decided to further her education and attend HCC for Dental Hygiene. In 2016 she obtained her Dental Hygiene license and has worked in pediatric, community health and private practices in the Greater Houston area.
When she isn’t helping people achieve their healthiest smile you can catch her around town riding her electric scooter to visit local shops and restaurants in The Heights where she resides.
Since moving from NYC in 2016, Houston has easily become a place for Melissa to call home. Melissa grew up in Colombia, but has also lived in Florida. Throughout her travels, and experiences, she's found that it’s the people and cultures that made these places feel like home.
Her love and passion for dentistry began when she was just eleven years old.
Since then, Melissa has strived and worked hard to become part of this wonderful field. Now as a Registered Dental Hygienist, she aims to work alongside her patients in a collaborative effort to help achieve not only a healthy, confident smile, but sustainable overall health.
From live shows, concerts, and art exhibitions, to visiting fifteen national parks,
you can always expect to find Melissa outdoors during her time away from the office.
Taylar was introduced to the field of dentistry through her father and this kick started her interest after graduating high school. Taylar attended Houston School of Dental Assisting in 2015. Taylar has worked both with adults and in pediatrics. She wanted to learn and grow in both settings to help everyone of all ages with their dental needs. She strives to be a helpful and warm smile you see when you come in to see the dentist (knowing it may not be everyone’s favorite place). Taylar enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair as she enjoys working alongside amazing doctors to perform the best care to patients!
When not working, Taylar finds herself spending time with her younger siblings and finding new and exciting places to eat and visit. She moved to Houston over 10 years ago, and still finds there’s so much to explore!! She loves spending time outside and making time for small weekend get togethers with friends!

Cody graduated from Renton Technical College in Washington state with his Associates of Applied Science degree in Dental Assisting, along with his Certified Dental Assistant certificate in 2019. Cody is nationally board certified in dental Infection Control, Radiology and Chairside Assisting. Cody’s number one goal is educating patients on the importance of their oral health, and he enjoys teaching them about the role this plays in their overall wellbeing. From a young age he loved getting cleanings, it's like a spa day for your teeth and gums. Dental was always very interesting to him, and he loves that this career feels more like a hobby than work.
Born and raised in Washington state, Cody was ready for something new, so he packed up and moved to Houston in the beginning of September 2022.
Everyone has been so inviting and humble and he already feels right at home, especially with his team members here at Montrose DDS. He is excited about finding what all Houston and Texas has to offer and is ready to explore and go on new adventures.
He is very excited to get know future patients and welcomes everyone with a big smile!
